Menu Planning on Rainy Day Monday

Here's a rare thing ~ me posting so early! While the rest of Victoria's mothers are about to get up and into their back to school mornings, we still have two more days of holidays bliss to enjoy. It has just started to patter with rain so I think the order of the day might be some banana cake baking. And we could definitely snuggle up under the spare doona and watch some 'Little House on the Prairie'. I don't think the kids have seen all the Season 3 episodes yet.

I've just realised that my evenings will be greatly taken up elsewhere this week *sigh*. I'm going to enjoy my quieter days whilst I can.

Onto more important things....what's for dinner Mu-u-u-m-m?

Monday: Meatloaf & vegies
Tuesday: Lionshead Meatballs, stir fried vegies, brown rice
Wednesday: Oven Fried Chicken, vegies
Thursday: Pasta with vegie sauce
Friday: Quiche & salad
Saturday: Vegie Rolls, jacket potatoes, salad
Sunday: Honey Soy Chicken pieces, (option 1: rice, vegies), (option 2: bbq'd with salads)

I think the perfect weather of 28C that is forecast (at this stage) for Sunday warrants some consideration of entertaining friends for lunch. You can't ignore the perfect opportunity to enjoy the first great bbq day of the season!!!!!

I've got the kids off to school and kinder and now going to hit the mountain of folding that I have tried to ignore for too long!

See you tonight!

My 'folding' is still on the line...thanks to the OCD laundry traits of my husband!!!!

Now I just need to keep all that washing caught up *sigh*

I've got one of those weeks where I'm home during the days but out almost every night. My problem is I'd like to be home all the time, that's how dull I am!

Frances, I think my things is that I find it not so bad to be out during the day but it is a rare thing that finds me looking forward to being out at night.

Book club rates highly. Music practice is a real effort...and yet I love playing on Sunday's.
