Have you ever longed for that movie to be true in your life? My golly me I surely do right now.
If I could go back about 18 hours I would have stayed out of the subtly disguised minefield. Had I done that I would not have stepped on the inevitable mine....one I was naively so sure I had avoided! Time and lack of combat has dulled my instincts.
Note to Self: Stay out of the minefield. Permanently.
Okay, spill it. What happened?
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I have many days where I wish I could start over and get it right.

Oh, dear! Hope all ok, Trac :)
ReplyDeleteThe subtly disguised ones are always the worst.
ReplyDeleteWith the undisguised ones you consciously make the choice to enter and the ones from left field you can't beat yourself up for not seeing.
Please take care and hope the collateral damage is minor.
Kind Regards
Belinda
Now that you have us all curious, do we all die like the cat? Just kidding, hope all works out in the end just like the movies!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Dianne
Oh you've given me all a good laugh, and I'm feeling better now.
ReplyDeleteSuffice it to say that a SIL is at her Christmas nonsense again and I'd just not considered that she's not the most mature or rational person, not to mention she has no time for me. A phone call the other day lulled me into not thinking things through. Shoulda left it to Dh.
Tracy, I'll put the kettle on and open a box of chocs...
ReplyDeleteSounds perfect Tina. A cup of tea, chocolates and the ear of a friend... what more could a girl ask for?
ReplyDeleteTracy, I've tagged you for a meme...come on over and find out the details.
ReplyDeleteTracy.....I came into the comments hoping to see what happened. What a curious (read: nosy) little person I am!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the graphic you chose for your post. Lisa x
