I have spent many hours hand piecing and enjoy the gentler pass and the hush that accompanies it.

But I've got to ask about the felt flimsy that is tucked into your sewing tin. Is it a needle book opened flat? Would love to see additional photos.

christineNeedle, Thimble and Thread https://www.blogger.com/profile/02998233696141477714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2103758876428147420.post-55888969365539481402008-09-18T19:50:00.000+10:002008-09-18T19:50:00.000+10:00I know all about crazy April! It was stunning. The quilting was incredibly fine and the only damage was a fabric that had something other than cotton in it and it had eaten away the fabric itself.Tracyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07511855282323456046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2103758876428147420.post-26698926959878181172008-09-13T06:58:00.000+10:002008-09-13T06:58:00.000+10:00Tracy, just a quick note, nothing about quilts, I ...Tracy, just a quick note, nothing about quilts, I reckon they will be way beyond me forever, but I just did a post about my first solo dinner party last night ... in another life my ex partner did all the catering if we had people to dinner. I "borrowed" one of your recipes and it worked a treat. Anyway, if you're interested, the full story is on my blog. I would love to do a quilt but have not attempted that as yet.Diannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16550009154135553864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2103758876428147420.post-55976929235595394542008-09-12T07:04:00.000+10:002008-09-12T07:04:00.000+10:00Oh I wish you could both pop over and join me! You can pop it right in your bag and go.

I continue to envy you your sewing circle, though I have found a woman at church who's helping me with my sewing, so that's a start.Left-Handed Housewifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15014518128739580267noreply@blogger.com
